Stargate Atlantis
It will likely suck.
It looks like they're following the same tactics as Next Generation.
- Fancier set(s)
- More fashion / Less function for character clothes
- Larger primary cast
- New villians (Wraith) with more flash and less subtlety/substance than the Gould. Remind anyone of Kligon/Ferengi?
- Must have babe who's primary contribution is...being attractive (ala Troi)
Then again it's kinda hard to get less flashy than a parasite :) —unless you count the eye flashes.
Then again it's also kinda hard to get more blatant with the 'forced babe character' than Vanessa Angel's appearances on the original series.
Only in Canada would a former VJ (Muchmusic) get a shot at Sci-Fi stardom.
Then again, only in the U.S. err...Denmark would a former VJ become an Internet entrepreneur.
