Msft's Live.com
The best thing I can say about Microsoft's new search portal Live.com is that it makes use of some subtle CSS-based background 'rainbow' imagery in the search input box. The thing is broken in IE 5.5, broken in Firefox and barely seems to work in IE6. Half of the search result links seem to lead to 408s (time-outs), or 404s (not found) and the back button doesn't do the right thing.
Come to think of it, that background image won't scale nicely at higher relative font-sizes. I stand corrected, there's nothing good I can say about Live.com
