Hmmm...no more needle scratches
I wonder if generation Y and generation Z kids who grew up without record players associate the record needle scratch sound more with hip-hop than with some sort of conversational or narrative non sequitur?Google-Park

An excellent discussion on Goovite, Creative Good's minimalisitic and extremely slick eVite replacement and alternative login methods (i.e. credential channels for you security geeks) over at 37signals.
I do find it noteworthy that all these former service-only agencies such as Adaptive Path, 37Signals, and Creative Good all now have products launched and/or in the pipeline. The barrier for entry into the micro-web-app market (don't DARE use the word 'applet'), is soooo low and the margins, even from simple Google ad-words traffic, are soooo high that there's really no compelling reason NOT to do it. These firms very likely want to grow their business w/o the costs of 'human scaling'. The marketplace has been pretty-well established for web design and user experience services and they very likely want a revenue hedge against service contract/client relationship which goes bad. I still remember that fateful day when 37Signals went from 100% client recommendations to 75%.
So long World of Warcraft
It's been a completely original and fun MMORPG (defn.) experience, but the recent series of patches have caused more problems and bugs than they've fixed. Blizzard seems bent on adding new additional "buggy" content w/o properly fixing many game-breaking and faction unbalancing issues in existing content.
Additionally, Blizzard has most definitely not listened to the player community regarding tweaks to the various talent trees. This has resulted that, for the vast majority of character classes, only 1 valid "cookie-cutter" talent build exists, thus defeating the original intent of the talents themselves. Blizzard really had a good core game, it's a shame that mis-management of the ongoing WOW service has resulted in a continuous degredation of the player experience.
New respect for Cathy Griffin
So I heard that she was a member of the Groundlings and I saw her portray yet-another-perky-spicey-redhead on Brooke Shields sit-com vehicle called "Suddenly Susan". One night, I saw a snippet of her stand-up on Comedy Central.
I remember coming away from all of these media encounters less-than-impressed.
I recently read of her experiences with Lasik surgery on her website.
Now I'm impressed.
For anyone, let alone somebody who makes their living off of image, presentation, and having a quick-wit, to share so candidly and openly about such a personal topic takes bravery, heart, and a real desire to help others.
I don't think I'll watch your D-List reality series on Bravo, but your A+ in my book for sharing this experience.
Your website, unlike virtually all other celebrity blogs, doesn't have an ounce of Flash too.
