Ninja Words

Go right now and put Ninja Words on your hotlink bar, desktop shortcut, or Quicksilver view. It's not a replacement for Dictionary.com--yet.

I wonder what Pirate Words would be like? Hmmm...

Joel on full disclosure

An excellent and very thoughtful op-ed by Joel on definite, probable, and possible conflcts of interest regarding the recent Vista/Ferrari laptop giveaway PR by Edelman/Microsoft.

And folks wonder why I don't fund my bandwidth bills with ads. Even the possible appearance of a conflict of interest is enough to destroy credibility.

Linerider Beta 2

Just in time for the holidays, a new version of Linerider is out with "turbo" & "scenery" tracks as well as the uber-requested "eraser" tool. Linerider has been proven to be insanely addictive. You have been warned.

Once Linux distro, multiple masters

If you want to get your Christ on, there's a Christian Edition of Ubuntu. If you prefer the dark side, there's a Satanic Edition too.

I personally prefer the Xfce flavor since I really don't need Gnome or KDE on a daily basis--and I'm an agnostic naturalist. I'm all about performance--and mouse logos.

Hello, I'm Andrea the trustafarian

Dear Ms. Harner,

I had the distinct displeasure of following a link to your blog this morning from, of all places, Buzzfeed.

Setting aside the facts that your husband is a co-founder of the aforementioned website and I can't find anything particularly "buzzworthy" on your site, for goodness sake, could you please blog any more like a trust-fund baby?!

Try living in the real world for a change. Your blog reads like what I would imagine Paris Hilton's blog would be assuming she had even a reasonably facile command of the English language.
